Lake Constance (Bodensee) is one of the most favorite places of vacation. And this is its main drawback for everyone who wants to relax. For those who are not disturbed by the crowds of walking, skating, swimming and eating, there are a lot of advantages: clean water, equipped beaches and warm pools, water sports and entertainment, numerous asphalt roads for pedestrians and cyclists along the shore and between vineyards, delicious food, fresh trout from the lake, finally enough attractions if everything else gets bored.

Hallstatt Ostuferweg. Around the lake
Hallstatt Ostuferweg is a popular hiking and cycling trail overlooking Hallstatt and Lake Hallstatt. There is also a hiking and cycling trail along the eastern bank of the Hallstattersee (where the railway runs). It is part of a long bike trail that goes to a nearby lake. In some places, it goes along footbridges above the water.
Savoy Venice – Annecy attractions
Annecy, like many cities with canals, is called the second Venice, in this case adding “Savoy”. You can spend a day on beautiful Annecy old town. What to do in Zell am See in summer
There are a lot of things, that you can do in Zell am See in summer. Zeller Lake is a great option for holiday for ten days to a couple of weeks, especialy if the weather is expected to be rainless. Hikers will be at home on the lake: on the one hand Zell am See has the highest alpine massif after Mont Blanc (Grossglockner, Hohe Tauern), on the other hand, lower, accessible mountains. This is accompanied by several picturesque gorges, mountain lakes and reservoirs, the powerful Krimml cascade of waterfalls.

Lake Constance family holidays
Lake Constance family holidays is one of the best family holidays in Germany. The best in this sense is the section around Überlingen and Meersburg to Friedrichshafen. There is so much entertainment there that you can’t visit it all in one vacation.
The Swiss side is less interesting and attractions are further from the shore. Moreover, there are steep slopes and more depth. But in the Rhine Delta, the lake is shallow, and it is great for swimming with children.

Gosau Lake (Gosausee) is a deep glacial lake with blue water, which reflects the surrounding mountains: the Gosaukamm ridge and the Dachstein glacier. It is the most beautiful of the Salzkammergut Lakes.

Chiemsee Lake. 1. Prien and lake
Chiemsee Lake is the largest lake in Bavaria and the third largest in Germany. It is called also Bavarian Sea. It is known mainly for the palace of Ludwig 2 of Bavaria, located on the island of Herren, and the monastery on the island of Frauen.
But do not forget that here you can spend a full vacation, inexpensive and varied. Within 30-90 minutes drive you can find cultural attractions, historical cities, museums, and natural attractions – mountains, lakes. On one side of the Autobahn to Salzburg there is a large network of cycling routes, on the other side of the Autobahn there are mountain hiking trails.
Garmisch-Partenkirchen. 3. Zugspitze, Alpspitze, Eibsee
From Garmisch you can clearly see the Alpspitze – a very beautiful and expressive peak with a recognizable shape. In contrast, the Zugspitze is often closed by the Kleiner and Großer Waxenstein. But you can also find points (if you climb further and higher in Partenkirchen), from where you can see all the peaks.
