North Black Forest. What to see map
Sights of the North Black Forest on the map. There are mainly resort and semi-resort towns with thermal pools, relatively low (compared to the High Black Forest), but rather steep hills.
90+ parks and gardens in Germany on the map
In France, there is a special website that lists all available gardens and parks, down to the smallest amateur ones. It can be difficult to assess the level of the garden there. In Germany, there is no such site, and finding gardens and parks is not so easy: gardening farms will come up with a search.
In this topic I collect German gardens, parks and flower fields that I know. Gardens at palaces, if they are important as an independent unit, are also indicated.
Swabian Alb map
On the Swabian Alb map there are cities and sights below Stuttgart (Stuttgart and surroundings have own map) up to Lake Constance.
What to see in Brandenburg on the map. 2. Potsdam, Havel, Uckermark
We go further with the topic what to see in Brandenburg. This time I describe the regions north of the A10 autobahn. The main place is here Potsdam.
Of course, apart from Berlin and Potsdam, Spreewald, there are not many truly interesting sights in Brandenburg left. There are several ruins of monasteries, many castles rebuilt and converted to other needs, there are a huge number of lakes, but the Brandenburgers were somewhat less fortunate with cultural trips for the day.
Jungfrau region Map
In this post you find the Jungfrau region map with Brienz and Thun lakes and the valleys on the right and left of the Jungfrau, but without going over to the southern side of the mountains.
To be able to more clearly see the names, the map is further split into pieces. More detailed maps are also available in separate topics.
Lake Lucerne. Swiss trail. Lake Uri
Lake Uri (Urnersee) is the most beautiful part of Lake Lucerne, with emerald waters and surrounding high mountains. This part is at the same time the historical heart of Switzerland, from where it actually began.
Lake Lucerne map of attractions
It’s not hard to find entertainment for a 2 week on the lake Lucerne. From here you can go on day excursions to the mountains and other cities. See on the Lake Lucerne map, where there are attractions and cable cars.
