Bayreuth Eremitage
The summer residence Eremitage Wilhemina was presented by her husband. There was already a palace and a park in a style reminiscent of the English landscape garden. Wilhemina expanded the palace, added more buildings and turned the park into a mixture of English and Baroque styles.
Zugspitze Austrian side – Ehrwald, Lermoos, Bichlbach
The touristic region of Zugspitze Austrian side is called Zugspitze Arena. Zugspitze Arena is known as a ski region that embraces the Austrian slope of the Zugspitze and the surrounding mountains.
Zugspitze Austrian side – Lakes
Looking at the photos in the first part, you may ask – where are these lakes, there is only a meadow and wooded mountains. Nevertheless, three decent-sized lakes are hidden in the forests, and in the neighboring valley towards Reutte there are two more large lakes, on which there are even pleasure boats. And there are many small mountain lakes and reservoirs, some of which are used to provide snow for trails, and in the summer they are very beautiful landscapes.
Mountain lakes were hidden under clouds, but in the forest ones we even managed to swim.

Lake Constance (Bodensee) is one of the most favorite places of vacation. And this is its main drawback for everyone who wants to relax. For those who are not disturbed by the crowds of walking, skating, swimming and eating, there are a lot of advantages: clean water, equipped beaches and warm pools, water sports and entertainment, numerous asphalt roads for pedestrians and cyclists along the shore and between vineyards, delicious food, fresh trout from the lake, finally enough attractions if everything else gets bored.
Chiemsee Lake. 1. Prien and lake
Chiemsee Lake is the largest lake in Bavaria and the third largest in Germany. It is called also Bavarian Sea. It is known mainly for the palace of Ludwig 2 of Bavaria, located on the island of Herren, and the monastery on the island of Frauen.
But do not forget that here you can spend a full vacation, inexpensive and varied. Within 30-90 minutes drive you can find cultural attractions, historical cities, museums, and natural attractions – mountains, lakes. On one side of the Autobahn to Salzburg there is a large network of cycling routes, on the other side of the Autobahn there are mountain hiking trails.
Chiemsee. Nearest mountains – Kampenwand
The first part is about the lake and its two islands – Herren and Frauen. Now let’s see what is in the area.
The nearest high mountains Kampenwand are just a stone’s throw from the lake. This is one of the few lucky places that combine the interests of water lovers and mountain lovers.
Castle Road. 3. From Sinsheim to Rothenburg ob der Tauber
From this section, the Castle Road leaves the Neckar valley and runs parallel to the A6 autobahn towards Nuremberg. The three main attractions along this stretch are Sinsheim, Schwäbisch Hall and Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Along the way, there are also a few small unknown places worth a visit.
Spessart. Mespelbrunn castle
I don’t know too many German films. But “The Spessart Inn ” and “The Haunted Castle” are familiar even to me.
Spessart are wooded mountains, quite high in places, located between the A3 and Main and further beyond the A3 towards Fulda. Through the Main to the south, the mountains continue, but are already called Odenwald. And Odenwald then goes to the Black Forest. And it turns out such an extended mountainous-wooded strip up to Switzerland.
The name Spessart in its original form meant “woodpecker mountainous forest”.
